Originally released on EMI Sweden, original copies of this album still change hands in excess of $500.

This was Doris’ jazz album though it contains more than a hint of Joni Mitchell, Led Zepellin and the like. Backed by her husband Lukas Lindholm on bass she was able to lay down some seriously funky bass lines on tracks like Don't and Beatmaker. On You Never Come Closer, an experimental track that was way ahead of its time, Janne Carlssonunleashes a fearsome sound on drums helped by Bernot Egerladh on organ.

No slowing down for the Be With crew as they delve into the back catalogue of counter culture skate hero Tommy Guerrero. Two of his early 2000s LP’s on the esteemed Mo Wax imprint get the reissue treatment, both containing a strange cosmic blend of blues, Midwestern funk and hip-hop in Guerrero’s own unique fashion. A Little Bit of Somethin’ has aged very nicely (unlike some other skate music from the time!) and both albums have been remastered and cut nice and loud for full listening pleasure.
In late November of 2018, long-time collaborators (& life-long Los Angelenos) Carlos Niño & Miguel Atwood-Ferguson flew to Chicago to participate in the album release performance of Makaya McCraven’s Universal Beings. Just 11 months prior, Carlos & Miguel were part of recording the ‘Los Angeles Side’ of Universal Beings at Jeff Parker’s house in Altadena, California, and this performance in Chicago would be the first time that all of the musicians reunited to re-learn and perform the music they’d collectively composed during those sessions.
