Kieran Hebden returns with a fresh solo full-length as Four Tet, following the surprise-released Parallel and the huge bassline referencing anthem 'Looking at Your Pager' as KH. Bookended by the already-released singles ‘Loved’ and ‘Three Drums’, Three is hinting at an electronified take on the organic downtempo/folktronica sound showcased on his classic Rounds LP.

Repress as triple vinyl - comes in a single sleeve instead of gatefold Repress of the influential first volume of ‘Disco Not Disco’ compiled by Joey Negro and Sean P !‘Disco Not Disco’ was a perfectly timed compilation back in 2000. Released when interest in the myths, history and playlists of original New York clubs like Paradise Garage and The Loft was at its peak, the album drew on the outer limits of leftfield disco championed by Levan and Mancuso, bringing together unlikely dancefloor anthems by rock acts like Yoko Ono and Ian Dury, obscurities from cottage labels like BC and Splash and selected oddities from the unique mind of avant-garde hero, Arthur Russell. It was essentially a celebration of the sonic melting pot in New York during the early ‘80s, an era when punk had burnt itself out and disco had become commercial and saccharine; in its place, the post-punk movement threw up brilliant oddities which tore up the accepted rulebook.
Reissue of this little 1989 UK white label - a loose organic 4/4 house cut made by mainly jazz/reggae producers at the time... Innocence and simplicity. Tip!
Kaidi Tatham returns to 2000BLACK with R&B and boogie offeringsin his own distinct style. ‘Galaxy’ features Lola Violet who soulfully sings about escapism and hope through the stars. ‘A Message From Above’ sounds like the gods themselves have passed on a message to Mr Tatham to tell us all. Take heed to the sound of jazz boogie via Jamaica. The Ep is signed off with ‘Ergonomic Structures’ the sound of a hip hop 2 step tune that we all wish existed in ’87 (soundman know wha’ we a chat)
