Timepeace was recorded in 1998 after a 15 year long career break and won the United Nations's Time For Peace award for outstanding artistic achievement contributing to world peace. The album features “People Get Ready/Brotherly Love” composed by Curtis Mayfield, the title song “Timepeace” featuring Pharoah Sanders on tenor-saxophone and 7 more tracks.

BBE’s J Jazz series reaches its fourth instalment, focussing on the years 1968 to 1981 and specifically music released on the label Nippon Columbia in Japan. Compilers Tony Higgins and Mike Peden exhume gems from solo artists and big bands alike and ranging from classical jazz aesthetics to fusions with heavy rock, samba and psychedelia.

Included in this compilation are Stikki Stuff, Cruzial, Potion, The Breakfast Band, Yeow Band and Scratch (better known as Gonzalez). Expect powerful synth solos, crazy slap bass grooves and lovely vocals on the top when the horn section is not busy doing its funky thing.Back in the days, these young musicians gave their music a unique British flavor and raw energy pushing the needle "In The Red".
