La Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation, en partenariat avec Rambler Sparkling Water, présente Texas Wild, un album exceptionnel dans lequel des musiciens texans rendent hommage à des airs classiques du Texas, mettant en valeur l’esprit indompté que l’on ne trouve que dans la musique texane. Produit par l’auteur-compositeur-interprète texan Walker Lukens (The Song Confessional, Golden Dawn Arkestra, Darkbird, CocoZandi), Texas Wild est un album exceptionnel qui mélange les sons des genres traditionnels du Texas comme le blues, la cumbia et la country avec des sons modernes comme le hip-hop, le R&B et l’électronique, pour les fans de country de la vieille école comme les nouveaux auditeurs.

As Zach Condon prepares to embark on a mass trans-atlantic tour in support of this Gallipoli LP as Beirut, all the fanfare of his horns, bells and whistling croons are once again to be enjoyed in full for a fifth time. Debuting back in 2006 with Gulag Orkestar, Gallipoli adds to the band's stream of albums these past 15 years and presents the singer-songwriter's second appearance on London's great 4AD. Inspired by a chance encounter with a brass band procession on the fated Turkish peninsula which reminded him of the Italian films from his childhood, he named the album and title track after small, coastal town in Apulia, southern Italy. These influences can be heard across Gallipoli alongside the sweet screams of synths and chimes that adorn the others, to spates of bluesy tropicana and the sweet, melancholic and trumpeting tones the band are most cherished for.

Yalla Miku, un groupe afro-suisse issu de la réunion entre le groupe Cyril Cyril, le duo Hyperculte, et trois chanteurs arrivés récemment dans la ville helvète. Le Marocain Anouar Baouna, l’Erythréen Samuel Ades et l’Algérien Ali Bouchaki. Une connexion qui brise la frontière, entre le Maghreb, l’Afrique de l’Est, avec l’underground genevois qui donne lieu à un album explosif qui mêle sonorités traditionnelles gnawa, la gamme pentatonique du krar, avec le krautrock et des sonorités électroniques psychédéliques.
